About SM.P

We’re a small team of artful wedding photographers and videographers, working with couples across the country. We capture natural, honest moments in a refined and timeless photographic style. Our philosophy is simple. We’re not fitting your story into a box, we’re witnessing it and gently shaping it as it authentically unfolds. It’s a careful weaving together of your authentic identity and our vision—each client’s experience is individual and personal.

FAQ’s

  • I recommend 10–14 months before the wedding. As you get closer to the wedding, it’s much more likely that your preferred wedding professionals will be unavailable. There are certainly exceptions to this rule, and I’d love to hear from you no matte the event date. There’s always a chance of availablity.

  • Yes! We document weddings throughout the continental US and Worldwide. Montana and Maine are our team’s homebases but we love to travel.

  • Kindly e-mail us and we’ll send you our investment guide with rates and packages.

  • When a wedding is over 50-75+ guests, I always work with one of my assistant photographers. Our team is comprised of myself, our Associate Photographer, and three talented and trusted photographers who work with me on a rotating schedule. They each bring a fantastic eye and professional skills as photographers. They are so key to the teams ability to capture a wedding day, and their support is key to my ability to be present and creative.

  • Wonderful! Email me at sarahmorrillphoto@gmail.com or fill out the form on my contact page. We’ll chat about your wedding plan, get to know one another, and if it’s a fitting match. A fifty percent deposit on your wedding photography services and a signed photography contract will reserve our services.

Artist’s Statement

For me, the story began many moons ago when my Grandmother gave me the family 35mm film camera and I shot and developed my first roll of film in the darkroom. That was it! Fast-forward fifteen years and I am a destination wedding photographer with a BFA in Fine-Art Photography and Photojournalism, having studied under some of the world’s premier photographers and photo-journalists

Image-making has allowed me to meet unique, beautiful people and share in their joyful celebrations, explore new places, be outside in nature, and document a part of life that is deeply meaningful to me: love, culture and relationships. I’m truly invested in making beautiful, timeless images, and in photography being a fun and memorable part of your wedding experience. Nowhere is too far to travel for a good story.

“We were immediately drawn to Sarah because of her portfolio at work that matched the vibe of our island wedding, and because of her laid-back nature. It was clear when we looked at her prior work that she was interested in catching the authentic moments of the weekend and that really appealed to us.”
