I love creating these beautiful memories and ensuring that photography is a fun and effortless experience. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time in the outdoors hiking, snowmobiling, camping, traveling often, or at home gardening and spending quality time with friends and family.

Philosophy
My approach is heart-first, I’m happiest and most inspired when your family is having fun and you are being yourselves. I don’t want you to force smiles and look at the camera for your whole photoshoot. As a storyteller, I believe in authenticity.
Since I was young I loved pouring over my own family’s photo albums.. looking for little bits of forgotten knowledge and memories.
We want to soak up more of the people we love so dearly, and be able to revisit our core memories for lifetimes. My approach is simple, take the people you love and gather them in a place that’s special to you. What comes next is magic. I capture joyful, unsuspecting, funny, messy and deeply beautiful moments of your family in this season of life. I encourage my clients to be as real as they are comfortable and I welcome everyone active inclusivity. Photography sessions are a relaxing and playful space.

I recommend May - early October are prime times of the year, especially with younger children! I do love a Winter session in the snow, but they can be more weather-dependent and prone to rescheduling and the little ones expire faster in the cold. Family sessions are primarily on weekdays, occasionally I have a weekend date available. Check the calendar or inquire for availability!
I prefer to photograph an hour or two before sunset for the prettiest light. If these times don’t work for your schedule, we can adjust our start time to sunrise. Early Fall is great if you want a current photo for the holiday card, or like the colors.
For newborn sessions, I recommend at-home sessions any time of year. If your photos are for a holiday deadline, please make sure to book a date that is 8+ weeks prior to the holiday ordering deadline.

I’m based in Whitefish, Montana and nowhere is too far to travel. I offer sessions across Montana and nationally, with travel fees associated.

Your full gallery will be delivered 2-6 weeks after the session. Certain times of year, it may take longer. Especially during pre-holiday rushes in Fall. Make sure to schedule before any holiday order deadline.
