Deer Isle is such an amazing place for a Summer Wedding. The forest is lush and mystical, the ocean is an unreal aqua color. When Jamie and Joe first reached out to me, they sent some photographs taken around their private island, Camp Island, off the coast of Stonington and Deer Isle. Those pictures were from Jamie’s cell phone. The pictures and the way she spoke about their little slice of Maine absolutely melted my heart and won we over. I was immediately on board. I never know exactly what the energy of a wedding day will be like until I show up, and sometimes I’m shocked. This was one of those days. I was blown away, and I still am, by the heartfelt, beautiful experience that Jamie and Joe created with their friends and family. I made an album for the couple and one for myself.
